The Red Line Jazz Project 2026

The Red Line Jazz Project is a city-wide public arts initiative that brings live jazz performances into CTA Red Line stations and nearby community spaces across Chicago. Curated by acclaimed musician and Mandala Artist-in-Residence Fareed Haque, the series transforms everyday transit environments into sites of cultural exchange, creating moments of connection for commuters and neighborhood residents alike.

The series culminates in a final performance on Friday, October 16 at the Harris Theater for Music & Dance, featuring Fareed Haque and guest artists.
